Zionsville Arts Initiative

How the Zionsville Arts Initiative Came to be...

The Zionsville Arts Initiative (ZAI) was formed to support all types of art in and around Zionsville. Growing from a core group that initially made up the Zionsville Brick Street Art Walk committee, we saw the need for an organization that would support the arts in Zionsville in a larger way.

Our name grew from what we see as our role in the community: we primarily serve as a hub of information and resources for both the arts community and the public. We work to contact other arts organizations and event-based arts groups to explore how we can partner with and help each other. We believe the timing is right for this diverse group of artists, merchants, and arts professionals to take action to increase awareness of and nurture the arts in Zionsville-and beyond.

ZAI continues to host the popular and newly-renamed Brick Street Art Walk every June. The Art & Space Program expands every year, providing artwork to local businesses. ZAI plans to further its mission by promoting the arts to residents, visitors, businesses, and the community as a whole.
