The ZAI launches its website as a way to communicate with the community and artists about events and programs. In our effort to become a hub of art information in and around Zionsville, this is a first step towards meeting that goal. We plan on updating the website monthly to keep the information current and timely.
We will also reach out to other arts groups and organizations to provide us with their event and program information and post it here. We are currently working on creating a database of local and regional artists whom wish to participate in our events and programs and to develop better interaction for artists with the community.

Merchants, artist and professionals unite to nurture and grow the arts in Zionsville and surrounding areas.
The Zionsville Arts Initiative believes the timing is right for this diverse group of twenty artist, merchants, and arts professionals, to take action to help nurture the arts in Zionsville.
Growing from a core group that made up the Zionsville Brick Street Gallery Walk committee, the group saw the need for an organization to support the Arts in Zionsville in a larger way. "The Zionsville Arts Initiative (ZAI) was formed to support all types of art in and around Zionsville. It’s not just for the support of painters and ceramicists but to support music and theater as well," said Michael Bartosz, President of the ZAI.
"We are looking to become a hub of information and resources to arts organizations and the public in our area. We plan to contact other arts organizations and event based arts groups to see how we can partner and help each other."
The Zionsville Arts Initiative will now be the home for the Brick Street Gallery Walk. After two successful events last year, this year looks promising for both events as well.
